Every person has their own life story, full of memories, challenges, and achievements that shape who they are. This is my journey from childhood until now, the story of how I grew up, what I experienced, and the dreams I continue to chase. My name is Reymart Zuniega, and I was raised in a simple but loving family where values, discipline, and faith were always present.
From the very beginning, I was surrounded by care and support. My childhood was not filled with riches or luxuries, but it was full of happiness. When I was young, the world seemed so simple. My greatest concern was deciding what game I would play with my friends outside. We played traditional Filipino games like tumbang preso, patintero, and habulan. Running under the sun, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and sometimes coming home with bruises or scratches those were the moments that made my childhood bright and carefree. At that time, I didn't worry about problems or responsibilities; I was simply enjoying life.
But even during those early years, my parents made sure I learned important lessons. They taught me the value of discipline, such as waking up early, helping with household chores, and respecting elders. They also emphasized respect for family, teachers, neighbors, and everyone around me. Most importantly, they instilled in me a faith in God, reminding me to pray and trust Him in everything I do. These lessons were not just words; they became principles I carry with me until now.
My formal education began at Rogus Elementary School. I still remember the first time I entered the classroom, shy and unsure, but excited about learning new things. In elementary, I learned the basics of reading, writing, and counting. It was also there that I discovered my love for drawing. Every time there was a poster-making contest or any activity related to art, I felt motivated to join. It gave me a sense of pride whenever my work was appreciated, and I realized that expressing myself through drawing was one of my talents.
Elementary school was also where I met people who became part of my life. I had teachers who not only taught lessons from books but also guided me to become a good student. They showed me how important knowledge is, and they encouraged me to do my best, even when I preferred playing over studying. I also formed friendships with classmates like Marvin and Dan Ashley, who remain close to me up to this day. Together, we shared laughter, secrets, and adventures, creating memories that shaped my younger years.
